VISA EXTENTION

A visa extension will be granted to students who maintain the same conditions as applying to the valid visa. It allows the visa holder to change status, extend the period or change the educational institution without re-applying to a new visa. The visa holder must apply to the extension within 90 days prior to the end period of the current visa.

• Picture of the identification sheet in a valid passport

• Last stamped visa in Chile (a sheet in the passport)

• Valid Chilean "cédula de identidad" front and back. If passport has been lost, the visa holder must upload the "constancia de pérdida de documento" file provided by  Comisaría Virtual. 

• Acceptance letter for the specific period of the visa extension.
